Adele Marcum, Board Member

Biography: Adele Marcum is a records expert with almost 20 years of experience, graduating with a University Honors and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family History and Genealogy from Brigham Young University. During employment at she enjoyed assignments in U.S. and international content acquisition; famous family tree research (including working on projects for the UK and US versions of Who Do You Think You Are?); indexing project management; conference organization; and public relations/marketing. She is a former Utah Genealogical Society board member and Director of the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. At, she has developed strategies for acquiring and publishing international records of genealogical value. Currently, she is responsible for the publication of historical records for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. 

Statement: I am interested in serving on the UGA Board because I am passionate about the work UGA does to promote genealogy standards and education in the community--and I feel that I have the talents and skills to contribute to this great work.
