Getting to Salt Lake City
By Air: The Salt Lake International Airport serves as a major hub for Delta Airlines. It is also served by American, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, United and US Airways, and their affiliates in two terminals.
Delta Airlines Discount:
Delta airlines offers SLIG participants a 10% discount on full/non-restricted fares, and a 5% discount on discounted/restricted fares when flying within the United States or Canada (not all fares are eligible, and some restrictions apply). The discount is available on travel from January 5, 2014 through January 25, 2014. Reservations and ticketing are available at www.delta.com

in the box provided on the Search Flight page. Reservations may also be made by calling Delta Meeting reservations at 800-328-1111 Mon-Fri 7am-7pm CDT; however, a booking fee applies to telephone reservations. Whether booking a discounted fare or not, identifying yourself with the event code listed above will assure continued discounts for SLIG participants in the future.
By Rail or Bus: Local visitors will be familiar with the commuter light rail system, FrontRunner, which provides easy access into Salt Lake from points as far south as Provo as as far north as Ogden. Amtrak’s California Zephyr serves Salt Lake City from the San Francisco Bay area in the west and from Chicago, Illinois to the east. Salt Lake City is also served by Greyhound Bus Lines.
By Car: Unless you plan to take a drive up the canyon or take a sight-seeing trip outside of Salt Lake, you probably don’t need a rental vehicle. Everything you need is within a short walking distance, or easily accessible by lightrail. However, if you are arriving by car, the Radisson website includes map link to obtain driving directions.
Getting to the Radisson Hotel
The Salt Lake International Airport is literally just minutes away from downtown. The Radisson Hotel Downtown is accessible via taxi, airport shuttle, bus, and lightrail. Complete information may be found at http://www.slcairport.com/ground-transportation.asp
. The Radisson Hotel is within a block of the TRAX (lightrail) Arena Station. Travel from the airport on lightrail requires a minimal fee (about $2.00); however, once you here, you may use the lightrail to travel anywhere within the free fare zone downtown.
Parking is available at the Radisson at the rate of $5 per night (24-hr period). This fee includes in/out privileges. Hotel guests may be charge the fee to their room as an incidental. Other SLIG participants may purchase a parking pass at the hotel registration desk with presentation of your SLIG name badge.
