Welcome to the page for the Cedar City Chapter of UGA. This Chapter is specifically for people located in the Iron and Washington county areas of southern Utah.
 
CEDAR CITY CHAPTER MISSION:
The Cedar City Chapter of the Utah Genealogy Association is committed to the preservation of genealogical records in Iron County, the education of others in the science of genealogy, and the compilation  of local histories.
 
CEDAR CITY HISTORIES PROJECT:
The Cedar City Chapter of UGA has started collecting histories of the first settlers of Cedar City and the surrounding areas, with plans of compiling these histories in a book. We are accepting outside help for this project, and would love any histories for those people who came to Cedar before 1880. If you would like to contribute, you can mail your histories to:

CEDAR CITY CHAPTER INFO:
The Cedar City Chapter meets on the 1st Monday of each month [except December] at the Cedar City Library in the Park in the Special Collections Room located at 303 North 100 East in Cedar City.
